What makes your product different?

Throughout our Vanlife journey, we've put many other Window Covers to the test. While some of the covers on the market were good, none of them were great. And after waiting weeks for delivery of an expensive product, we were always left disappointed with our purchase. Light would often leak out around the cover, making privacy and stealth camping that much more difficult to achieve.

Our covers are machine-cut using a templated cutting die, meaning they will fit perfectly every time, allowing complete backout and privacy. They use premium materials, fold up nicely for storage, and can be installed in minutes. And lastly, they ship in a matter of days, not weeks. 

 

Which vans are your window covers designed for?

Currently, we're offering select window covers for Mercedes Sprinter Vans from 2007-2018. You can view the full collection here

    Please note that we'll be adding more options in the near future. 

     

    Do you accept custom orders for any vehicle?

    No. Our window covers are pre-manufactured and currently designed for Mercedes Sprinter Vans. If you would like to suggest a certain window cover or van type, we'd love to hear from you at support@thewanderful.co

     

    How do your covers fasten to my windows?

    All window covers are magnetic (except for the Windshield Cover) using a combination of strong rare earth magnets. 

    The Windshield Cover is held in place using your sun visors and is supported by internal Carbon Rods to prevent sagging.

    What if my van has custom wall paneling that doesn't leave the metal wall exposed?

    Our Window Shades are magnetic and require exposed metal in order to stay in place. 

    The Vent Cover sticks to the plastic vent frame using steel plates that are installed behind the frame (steel plates are included!).

    How and where do I store my Window Covers when I'm not using them?

    Our Full 8-piece set as well as the Front Set (Windshield & Driver/Passenger doors) come with a free storage bag. Most covers are designed to be folded and stored at the top of the window so you never have to go looking for them again. The front cab window covers can be folded up and stored in their (free) storage bag. 

    Many people will store their covers in their headliner shelf or behind the drivers seat.

     

    Will you offer other colors in future?

    Possibly! Currently, all of our Window Covers are made using black materials. They are sleek, beautiful, and go with everything!

     

    What if my Window has a T-Vent?

    The Sliding Door and Crew Window (behind drivers seat) covers have magnets that allow you to partially fold up the cover and access the vent opening.

     

     

    Ordering

    What forms of payment do you accept?

    The Wanderful conveniently accepts payments through Paypal and any other major credit card. (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express & JCB)

    We're also partnered with a company called Sezzle which gives you the freedom to buy now and pay later—with no interest!

    When you complete a purchase with Sezzle, The Wanderful will process your order as if you have just paid the entire price—but you will have only paid a fraction of the cost. Click here for more information about payment installments through Sezzle. 

     

     

    Shipping

    How can I track my order?

    Once your order is shipped, you’ll get a confirmation email. Under the shipping method section, you’ll see the carrier & tracking number.

     

    How much do you charge for shipping?

    We offer free shipping on all orders to the contiguous United States, plus expedited options at an additional cost. International shipping options will be calculated at checkout. 

     

    How fast do you ship?

    We aim to get your order out within 24-48 hours (Monday-Friday).  Click here for more information about estimated delivery times.

     

    Where do you ship?

    Currently, we ship to the 48 contiguous United States and Canada. We may increase our shipping locations in future. 

     

    Are duties included with International Shipping?

    Duties and taxes ARE NOT included with international shipping. Orders placed with international shipping are subject to these terms and conditions.

     

    My package says delivered but I haven't received anything. What can I do?

    Occasionally, a parcel will be marked as delivered by the shipping carrier prematurely. If your parcel does not arrive in the next 24-48 hours, it's possible that your shipment was stolen, and The Wanderful is not responsible for replacing stolen or lost packages.

    The Wanderful offers Route Package Protection insurance that you can add to your order to cover your shipment in case it gets lost, stolen, or damaged (learn more).

    Can I pick up my order?

    No. Orders can only be delivered to your door.

     

    What is Route Package Protection?

    The Wanderful is proud to partner with Route, the leader in package protection and tracking solutions. By selecting Route Protect at checkout, your order will be protected from loss, damage, or theft. In the unfortunately case that your order never arrives or is broken upon arrival, you can easily file a shipping issue with Route and receive a replacement or be reimbursed.     Please note that if Route Package Protection is not purchased upon checkout, it cannot be added to your order after the fact. If your order is not protected by Route and your shipment is lost, damaged, or stolen, the Wanderful is not responsible for refund or replacement.
