I have been looking for a good solution for my Alucab Canopy Camper on my 2018 Toyota Tacoma for a while now. Alucab makes an outdoor shower cube which is awesome, but i was racking my brain trying to find a way to shower INSIDE my camper.
I do a lot of winter camping up in New England so showering outside isn’t much of an option for many months out of the year. That’s where this shower kit comes into play. Being able to deploy, use, and break down the shower all without having to step foot outside of the camper is incredible. To save on water, i am using a Geyser Systems heated shower which i have stored in a cabinet inside the camper. When i want to shower i simply preheat the Geyser, attach the 4 corners of the CampClean Shower to hooks on the ceiling of the camper, clip into the basin, and clean up.
After the shower it takes about 2 minutes to roll the shower back up into its bag and dump the wastewater out (be sure to use biodegradable soap!!). I usually leave the basn hanging off the outside of the camper overnight to dry out.
Being able to shower inside is again an absolute game changer. You can get a fully clean shower experience from the inside of a 5 foot truck bed and that is worth its weight in gold. You could use this shower setup with essentially any truck bed camper set up. You could even still use it outside if you wanted to as well. HIGHLY recommend. On top of all that the whole setup is high quality. Overbuilt straps, nice materials used, and well thought out placement of pass-through holes, storage pouches, etc.
I needed an outdoor shower option for the back of my van. This works so well!! I open the back doors of the van, strap it up and shower away. The straps inside hold my shower handle and pouches hold everything else. Love the two zippers and the shower pan doubles as a tote for a bunch of gear. Another awesome product from The Wanderful!!
